By downloading, installing, or using MoonJournal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
MoonJournal is intended for users aged 16 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.
MoonJournal is a dream journaling and interpretation application that allows users to record dreams, receive AI-powered interpretations, track mood patterns, and access astrology-based insights. The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities that occur under your account are your responsibility. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
MoonJournal offers premium subscriptions ("MoonJournal Premium") on a monthly, 3-month, or yearly basis. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings.
Free tier users receive up to 3 AI dream interpretations per week. Additional uses may be earned through rewarded interactions.
Dream interpretations, horoscope insights, and astrology readings provided by MoonJournal are generated using artificial intelligence. This content is for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only and should not be considered professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.
AI interpretations may not always be accurate or relevant. Use your own judgment when reflecting on the insights provided.
You retain ownership of all dream entries, notes, and personal data you submit to the App. By using the App, you grant MoonJournal a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., generating AI interpretations).
We do not sell, share, or use your dream content for any purpose other than delivering the App's features to you.
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App
- Interfere with the App's operation or other users' experience
- Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights
- Use the App to plan, threaten, or promote violence against any person or group
- Submit content involving the exploitation of minors
MoonJournal employs automated content safety measures to help protect our community. Content involving imminent threats of violence, harm to others, exploitation of minors, or other illegal activity may be reviewed and reported to appropriate authorities, including law enforcement.
Certain categories of content will be blocked from AI interpretation entirely. The App may display crisis support resources when dream entries contain themes related to self-harm, suicide, domestic violence, substance abuse, or other sensitive topics.
MoonJournal is not a substitute for professional mental health support, crisis intervention, or emergency services. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call 911 or your local emergency number. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoonJournal and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
